Press Assistant & Feeder Entry‑Level Opportunity with Career Advancement Looking to get hands‑on with industrial equipment and build a long‑term career in manufacturing? The Press Assistant & Feeder role is a great entry point into the printing industry, offering structured training, skill development, and a clear path to becoming a Press Operator. In this role, you'll work side‑by‑side with experienced operators, starting in sheet catching and progressing into press feeding and setup. If you're mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn, this position offers real growth potential. What You'll Do Catch, stack, and organize large printed sheets as they exit the press Handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs and measuring up to 10 feet in length and width Assist with team lifts for heavier materials as needed Stage substrates, materials, and supplies for production runs Support the press operator with basic machine setup and feeding adjustments Feed sheets into the press consistently while monitoring quality and preventing jams Make simple measurement and alignment adjustments under instruction Use hand and power tools to assist with setup, die changes, and production needs Support die cutting operations and other press‑related tasks Inspect materials for quality, alignment, and defects throughout production Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Troubleshoot minor issues with guidance from the press operator Participate in hands‑on training with the goal of advancing into a Press Operator role Follow all safety procedures when working with machinery and materials What We're Looking For Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience Mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in learning industrial equipment Familiarity with hand tools and power tools Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs and assist with heavier lifts Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Willingness to perform general labor in a light industrial environment Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn and grow Preferred (Not Required) Printing press or screen printing experience Exposure to machine setup, troubleshooting, or die cutting Experience with die changes or machining Ability to read basic blueprints or job specifications Why Work Here?
