Job Description

Schedule:
This part-time position will work out of the Augustine Institute home office in Florissant, Missouri.
Reporting to:
Madison Van Frank

  • Senior Producer Position Summary Temporary Seasonal Student Workers provide administrative and project support and are generally assigned to one or more departments or functional areas (including but not limited to Studios, Marketing, Product Management, the Office of the President, Academics, Chapel, Facilities, or Café Operations).
  • Specific duties are listed below but may not be all-inclusive.
Department:
Studios Assist with filming set up and take down as needed for various productions. Serve as a Production Assistant on set, providing production support
  • assist with set dressing, note taking for directors, craft services, collecting Talent Release Forms, coordinating background talent, children, & extras. Provide administrative support
  • printing, making copies, data entry, note taking, getting supplies, etc. Assist Producers with casting support as needed. Provide writing support
  • Leverage what you are learning in the Graduate School to contribute to our productions, be an active part of the scripting and ideation process for the development of upcoming projects.
May be asked to perform as an Extra on camera during production Provide hospitality and welcome donors or other visitors to the Studios Carriage House if staff members are not around when they come through for visits. Handle quality control (QC) of Studios content with an emphasis on podcasts, Dr. Tim Gray s Daily Reflections, Lectios, Augustine Institute Original Shows, Audio Dramas, and the Amen app. Assist with Studios cleaning and upkeep as needed. Act as the liaison between the Studios and the Graduate Students when Studios is in need of Extras. Assist with promoting casting calls for talent. Qualifications Current full-time AI on-site student in good standing. Come to work with a love for the Lord and the Catholic Faith, and a servant s heart. Foster a love for film, audio, and storytelling, and a desire to grow in craftsmanship in many areas of production. Demonstrates an interest in being a hands-on member of a fast-paced film studio team with an eagerness to jump in and learn new things. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with MS365 (including Outlook, Word and Excel). Experience with various adobe products is a plus (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a productive and collaborative member of a team. Possesses knowledge of the Augustine Institute mission and products. Excellent skills and abilities in communicating and interacting professionally both verbally and in writing. Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
Additional Requirements:
You may be asked to work some evenings and weekends, but this is rare and depends upon our filming schedules. You will mostly be working during business hours M-F Heavy Lifting Long Periods of Walking/Standing
