Job Title:

Production Associate Job Description Join our dynamic production team as a Production Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production operations. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work on the production line alongside a dedicated team, engaging in various tasks such as preparing production lines, operating equipment, and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities Follow all safety and quality guidelines. Assist in preparing the production line for runs, including safety checks and staging raw materials. Conduct production counts, quality checks, and record downtime. Operate all production equipment according to defined standards and product specifications. Handle raw materials properly. Identify and report potential quality issues. Maintain cleanliness and order in production and warehouse areas, adhering to SOPs and GMPs. Keep the company in compliance with certifications such as Organic, Kosher, HACCP, and SQF. Maintain 5S standards in the production department. Essential Skills Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and PPE requirements. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic reading and math skills. Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous food manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Knowledge of manual and power jack operation (training provided as necessary). Redzone experience is a plus. Ability to lift 55 lbs. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
