Staffmark is seeking a Working Team Leader to support production operations during peak times. This hands-on role spends most of the shift performing production work while assisting with employee training, shift support, safety compliance, and communication between temporary employees, customer leadership, and the Staffmark team. Job Duties Assist with training and onboarding new employees Support shift start-ups and employee check-ins Answer questions and provide guidance on production tasks Promote safety compliance and proper PPE usage Monitor work quality and productivity standards Communicate issues to customer leadership and Staffmark Help ensure production goals and quotas are met Provide ongoing support to team members as needed Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments. Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Lead. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery. Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
