Hours:

7:30am-4:00pm We are searching for candidate that can support the operation of basic to advanced PLC metal forming, punch, and stamping machines, maintain safe work behavior, and drive efforts in safety, housekeeping, 5S, quality, and productivity to meet the production output and quality goals. Production Operator Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and run work orders operating basic PLC control panels, continually reviewing production status to efficiently meet daily and weekly output goals
  • Read and interpret blue prints and setup, operate, change-over, and tear down the lines
  • communicating obstacles proactively as needed to ensure production flows smoothly and efficiently
  • Use calipers, gauges, and other hand tools to regularly inspect parts, and perform visual inspections, to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Apply labels to the product and enter daily production output into an ERP System, ensuring counts and information are accurate
  • Perform light trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance on machines to ensure they are in proper working order
  • Fill out scrap and reject reports as well as production reports Requirements for
Production Operator:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Previous machine operating experience
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience are a plus but not required
  • Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  • Ability to read, write, and do basic math in English
  • Ability to read basic print facts and follow production orders
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Ability to lift 40-80 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to carry heavy corrugated cut-off sheets
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist throughout shift
