•approximately 10:00 AM Position Summary The Soil Sorter / Soil Sling is responsible for organizing, sorting, and staging soiled linens, mats, and garments for the wash process. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient laundry operations through accurate sorting, weighing, and preparation of materials. Key Responsibilities Sort and organize soiled linens, mats, and garments according to established guidelines Accurately weigh items and prepare them for processing in the washroom Stage products to ensure a smooth and continuous workflow Maintain attention to detail throughout the sorting process Follow all safety procedures and company standards Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Track production counts and record data in company software Qualifications Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9-hour shifts) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Comfortable handling soiled items from food service, industrial, and janitorial environments Basic reading, writing, and math skills (approximately 9th-grade level) Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments) Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills High attention to detail Why Join Ace Imagewear?
