Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Shop Production Associate to support all phases of cabinet manufacturing, including sanding and finishing preparation, cabinet assembly, material handling, and general shop operations. This role requires prior hands-on experience in cabinetmaking, woodworking, or a related trade. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Key Responsibilities Perform sanding and surface preparation on cabinet components before finishing Assist with cabinet assembly, hardware installation, and shop production tasks Support finishing processes, including prep, wiping, handling, and quality review Read and follow production instructions, labels, and job details Safely operate hand tools and shop equipment (sanders, drills, drivers, etc.) Stage parts, organize materials, and maintain workflow efficiency Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and moving finished product Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors Perform additional shop duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in cabinetry, woodworking, carpentry, or manufacturing required Working knowledge of hand tools and basic shop equipment Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship standards Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and positive work attitude Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods Work Environment Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to wood dust, machinery, and moderate noise. Safety training and PPE provided. Schedule & Compensation Full-time position. Compensation based on experience and skill level.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
