Box Lunch Production & Prep Associate Best Box Lunches St. Louis, MO Job Details Part-time $16 - $17 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Food service workstation cleanliness Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description Overview Best Box Lunches is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Box Lunch Production & Prep Associate to join our weekday morning team. This is not a traditional restaurant position. About 50% of the job is container and order preparation , about 25% is assembling box lunches , and about 25% is food prep and cleaning . No previous food-service experience is required. We will train the right person. Our company motto is "Right! Ontime, Everytime." Because our customers depend on us to prepare and deliver lunches on schedule, being on time and ready to work at 7:00 AM is extremely important. Schedule Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to approximately 12:00 PM About 20 to 25 hours per week No nights No weekends End time may vary depending on the day's workload Pay Starting pay is $16.00 per hour Pay increases are available after 30 days based on performance and reliability Employees participate in a pooled tip program Tips are added to the weekly paycheck Tips are not guaranteed, but employees typically receive an additional $100 to $200 per week Primary Responsibilities Approximately 50%: Container & Order Preparation Prepare containers and packaging for upcoming orders Apply approximately 3,000 labels/stickers per week Organize labeled containers for production Prepare customer name and entrée labels Stock containers, cutlery, chips, drinks, bags, and other supplies Prepare paperwork and order materials Keep production supplies organized and ready for use Approximately 25%: Box Lunch Assembly Assemble and package individual box lunches Follow order sheets and special instructions Label and organize completed lunches Check completed orders for accuracy Prepare orders for delivery Approximately 25%: Food Prep & Cleaning Assist with basic food preparation Stock ingredients and workstations Clean production areas, trays, and equipment Sweep and mop Help keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the shift What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Comfortable performing repetitive tasks Good attention to detail Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team No prior food-service experience required A large part of this job involves repetitive labeling, packaging, and preparation work, so applicants should be comfortable performing these tasks for extended periods.
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): Can you reliably arrive and be ready to work by 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday?
