Job Description
Richardson Durum Milling, a division of Richardson International, is North Americas single largest durum miller. Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Bulk Vessel Loadout Lead to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Milling location. A Loadout Lead is responsible for the overall operations of the loadout department and employees.
Responsibilities:
Directly oversees and monitors production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications. Collaborate with Milling department to meet customer specifications and timeline. Optimize operational efficiencies to support the facility's production. Facilitate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime. Schedule labor according to the production needs and guidelines. Ensure the loadout area is organized and clean at all times. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Make sure all production personnel follow SOPs, GMPs, OSHA and HAACP guidelines at all times. Will be required to maintain documentation of a variety of activities and inventories. These may be either on a paper format or electronic format. Must learn and execute basic equipment maintenance to improve production reliability. Make recommendations for line efficiency and productivity improvements. Communicate effectively with other supervisors in mill, maintenance and packaging departments and assist when needed. This role requires regular presence on the plant floor, requires lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.Qualifications:
Previous experience in blending or loading a plus. Experience operating trackmobile and bobcat. Ability to communicate effectively. Must be comfortable using a computer and able to learn new software for production.
