Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and setting up press brake machines to shape and form sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality metal fabrication processes, ensuring products meet strict specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to determine proper machine setup and tooling requirements Use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to tolerances Adjust machine parameters during production runs to optimize performance and maintain quality standards Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and standards in production environments Collaborate with team members on tooling changes, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues promptly Conduct quality inspections throughout the process using measurement tools and ensure compliance with safety procedures Qualifications Proven experience operating press brake machines or similar forming equipment in a manufacturing setting Strong mechanical knowledge of forming machines, tooling, measurement instruments, and fabrication techniques Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and shop math accurately Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and strict adherence to safety protocols Basic math skills necessary for precise measurement and quality control tasks Experience with welding, sheet metal fabrication, machining tools setup, or assembly is advantageous Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to precision craftsmanship!
