Job Description

Production Engineer Specialist Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Lee County MS area is seeking a Production Engineer Specialist to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Production Engineer Specialist Job Summary:
Pay- Salaried Shifts Available :
1st shift Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, quality, and cost reduction. Develop, implement, and monitor production standards, work instructions, and process documentation. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to improve overall plant performance. Support new product launches and process development activities. Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and workflow evaluations. Develop and implement process controls to ensure consistent production quality. Monitor production metrics and prepare reports on efficiency, scrap reduction, downtime, and labor utilization. Assist with equipment selection, installation, validation, and process optimization. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Train production personnel on new processes, procedures, and equipment. Participate in root cause analysis investigations and corrective action implementation. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar process improvement tools preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
