Job Description

JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position. However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position. Work to ensure resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards Follow defined welding, stamping and repack procedures and comply with quality requirements. Ensure full adherence to 5S Standards at all times Ensure all production inspection forms are completed appropriately Ensure that non-conforming parts are clearly identified and isolated Ensure that the escalation procedure for quality concerns are followed Observes machines to detect errors or malfunctions and orders corrective actions Prepare line set-ups for following shifts, including first piece buyoffs Activate labels for bin location and quantities. Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated tasks Enforce all safety and quality processing procedures Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies Keeps work areas clean and orderly. Participates in continuous improvement activities. Able and willing to work any shift assigned, weekends and overtime Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Required Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proven technical ability Knowledge of stamping and/or welding processes Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proven manufacturing skills Ability to effectively complete multiple tasks Required Experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
