JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position. However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.

• Work to ensure resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards
• Fo llow defined welding, stamping and repack procedures and comply with quality requirements.
• Ensure full adherence to 5S Standards at all times
• Ensure all production inspection forms are completed appropriately
• Ensure that non-conforming parts are clearly identified and isolated
• Ensure that the escalation procedure for quality concerns are followed
• Observes machines to detect errors or malfunctions and orders corrective actions
• Prepare line set-ups for following shifts, including first piece buyoffs
• Activate labels for bin location and quantities.
• Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated tasks
• Enforce all safety and quality processing procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies
• Keeps work areas clean and orderly.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities. Able and willing to work any shift assigned, weekends and overtime
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
