You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will.... Read and understand production tickets and be able to interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual. Operate serger sewing machine to sew inside border stitching on upholstery fabric while maintaining quality standards and production specifications. Making sure the sewing is straight and in alignment with cover pattern with no dropped stitches. Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates…. At least 3-5 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper end upholstered furniture. Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment. Work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment. We prefer some of these qualities as well… High School Diploma or equivalent. Good communication skills-oral and written. Ability to keep accurate records. Ability to follow documented procedures and standards. Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role…. Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
