Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our dynamic food processing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing and packaging of food products in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high standards of food safety, and supporting the overall quality of our products. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are highly valued. Hours range from 28-36 hours per week. Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment used in food production and processing, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow Assist with food packaging, labeling, and palletizing to meet production targets Follow strict sanitation and cleaning protocols to maintain a hygienic work environment in accordance with HACCP and sanitation standards Monitor production lines for quality issues, reporting any deviations or defects promptly Support adherence to FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other food safety guidelines Conduct basic inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs or mechanical issues Assist with inventory management, including raw materials and finished goods storage Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records and sanitation logs Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely when required Participate in training sessions related to food safety, GMPs, HACCP, and other industry standards Requirements Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments preferred; familiarity with food processing plants is advantageous Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and food safety standards Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and basic troubleshooting Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within a food industry setting Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads regularly Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification if necessary Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions consistently Join our team as a Production Worker if you are committed to quality, safety, and efficiency in the food industry.
