Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator for our client in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent production or machine operation experience and be comfortable working in a moderate to fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule & Pay Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm (overtime as required)
Starting Pay:
$17.00-$19.00/hr.
Job Type:
Contract-to-Hire Job Duties Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery used to form materials into specified shapes, profiles, and finished products. Load raw materials and compounds into production equipment and adjust feed mechanisms to maintain proper material flow. Monitor machine operation and adjust settings to maintain production quality and efficiency. Monitor temperature, pressure, output, line speed, tension, and other operating conditions. Adjust heaters, cooling systems, line speed, and tension controls as needed to maintain consistent product quality. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel. Remove excess or defective material using appropriate tools. Safely clear machine jams and assist with maintaining continuous production. Conduct test runs to verify proper machine setup and product specifications. Inspect finished products and perform quality checks throughout the production process. Record production information, including machine settings, output levels, and quality inspection results. Follow all work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards. Job Requirements At least 2 years of recent production or machine operation experience. Proven record of good attendance and reliability. Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and recognize mechanical issues. Physically capable of standing, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive production tasks.
