Edgecombe Furniture is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our production team. You do not need previous upholstery or furniture manufacturing experience. We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for people who have a strong work ethic, good attendance, a willingness to learn, and take pride in doing quality work. What You'll Do As a Furniture Production Associate, you will learn how to build and upholster commercial upholstered furniture.

Your responsibilities may include:

Learning to upholster furniture according to company quality and production standards Pulling, stretching, positioning, and securing fabric Using pneumatic staplers, hand tools, and other production equipment Working with foam, fabric, wood frames, and other furniture components Following patterns, work instructions, and production specifications Inspecting your work for quality and accuracy Maintaining a clean and organized work area Meeting daily production goals Working safely and efficiently as part of a production team Pay & Production Incentive You will be paid an hourly base rate of $15.00/hour . In addition to your hourly pay, our production incentive program gives you the opportunity to earn more based on your productivity. Once you meet the required hourly production rate for the day, additional production earnings can increase your total hourly earnings up to $25.00/hour. Your earnings can grow as you become more skilled and efficient in the job. What We're Looking For Experience is not required. We will train you. We are looking for someone who: Shows up to work consistently and on time Has a strong work ethic Is dependable and takes responsibility for their work Is willing to learn a new skill Works well with others Can follow instructions and pay attention to detail Takes pride in producing quality work Is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Is comfortable working on their feet throughout the workday Is able to perform repetitive, hands-on work Previous experience in manufacturing, production, construction, automotive, furniture, warehouse, assembly, sewing, upholstery, or other hands-on work is helpful, but not required. Physical Requirements This is a physically active, hands-on production position. Employees are on their feet for the majority of the workday and may frequently bend, reach, pull, stretch, lift, and perform repetitive movements. You should be comfortable working with your hands and performing physical work throughout the day.

Schedule Monday-Thursday:

7:00 AM-5:00

PM Friday:

7:00 AM-4:00

PM Saturday :

7:00 AM-12:00 PM (during our busy season)

Lunch:

30 minutes

Breaks:
