•4:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Fixer to join our team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining braiding and winding equipment to ensure smooth production operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and works well in a team environment. Prior experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Duties & Responsibilities Learn and perform repair and maintenance duties on braiders and winders. Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments and repairs. Monitor braiding equipment for defects, inconsistencies, or operational problems. Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding equipment status and production needs. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors and wiping down machines. Use personal tools to perform repairs; company may provide certain tools as needed. Assist in maintaining production efficiency and minimizing downtime. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work cooperatively with team members to support production goals. Qualifications Ability and willingness to learn new skills and procedures. Mechanically inclined; experience working with small motors is a plus. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the work shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and machinery.
