Job Description

Position Summary:
A night task crew member is responsible for performing and completing a multitude of general labor tasks throughout the greenhouse under the direct supervision of their manager and/or Crew Leader. Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, assisting with shipping and loading, maintaining productivity targets, and ensuring the work area remains safe at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Adherence to all safety protocols. Arranging plants on the ground for optimal spacing. Transferring tables between different locations. Performing plant cleaning, pinching, and cutting tasks. Operate table-moving machinery upon certification. Assisting in hanging and shipping plants when required. Completing assigned tasks independently or collaboratively. Collaborating effectively in a team to achieve daily objectives. Punctuality and adherence to timelines. Loading and unloading product to and from trailers and shipping carts. Plant, tag, install pot hangers and place pots on a production line. Other duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications Proficiency in interdepartmental communication and collaboration. Ability to multitask and contribute as a part of a team. Adaptability to work in various types of weather conditions. Availability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Compliance with company standards and directives. Willingness to learn and be trained. Demonstrated reliability as a team member. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with warehouse environment Job Setting & Physical Demands This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. There are occasional needs to work in confined spaces. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including but not limited to operating the table lifter and get certified and operate on internal vehicles. Employee must have the ability to lift 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
