PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATOR
Location:
Huntersville, NC Shifts Available:
2-2-3
Shift Pay:
$19 per hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Machine Operator to safely and efficiently operate coating, embossing, braking, inspection, winder, and mixing equipment. The operator will help keep production running smoothly while maintaining quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and set up machinery for production Adjust machine gauges and computerized operating controls according to manufacturing specifications Prepare solvents, PVC pastes, and dry blends according to production formulas Operate coating, embossing, braking, inspection, winder, and mixing equipment Change rollers and maintain proper fabric feed and tension Ensure coating material feeds properly and fabric is wound without folds or creases Inspect fabric and raw materials for defects, flaws, thickness, width, surface quality, and bonding strength Monitor production processes and identify/correct malfunctions or quality issues Complete required production and quality reports Follow all manufacturing instructions and safety procedures Qualifications 1-2 years of experience operating continuous-type heavy manufacturing equipment Previous coater experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with computerized machine controls Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions Comfortable working with both English and Metric units of measurement Strong attention to detail and ability to visually identify defects Ability to safely operate machinery, tools, and related equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of Transilon belt types is a plus Successful completion of required training programs Physical Requirements Must be able to frequently and independently lift up to 50 lbs. — strictly enforced Ability to perform physically demanding manufacturing work Must be available to work overtime and/or occasional odd hours, including with limited notice What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, dependable, and experienced in heavy manufacturing equipment operation . Previous coating experience is highly preferred.
Pay Details:
