Primary responsibilities:

• Follow instructions from leads
• Routine adjustments of leather cutting equipment
• Skiving, painting, splitting as needed
• Cleaning & general maintenance of equipment and leather room as needed
• Other general tasks required by lead
• Running the production line
• Package finished products for shipping

Required Skills:

• Handling and cutting all weights of leather
• Handling all types of leather hides
• Ability to run all leather cutting, splitting and skiving machines
• Ability to communicate instructions
• Additional skills: general leather cutting equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail
• Quality oriented person
• Be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Strong attention to details
• Must be able to multi-task
• Be organized.
• Be positive in a fast pace environment.
