POSITION SUMMARY

The Team Leader leads designated team(s) responsible for the overall production of Mako, Ranger, and Hatteras boats.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Works with production supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks. Assesses production needs to plan work assignments. Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members' skills and experience. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Inspects work performed by team members.

ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Degree :

Former Apprenticeship or associates degree preferred

Experience :

Preferred one-year industrial manufacturing experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ,AND ABILITY

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to identify issues and to determine problem solving steps that are needed. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory.
