Job Description

UTILITY - TISSUE PRODUCTION
Pay:
$18.00/hour
Schedule:
12-hour rotating swing shifts
Shift Rotation:
Days and nights alternate every 4 weeks
Weekends:
Approximately 2 weekends per month Position Summary We are seeking a dependable Utility employee to support production operations in a fast-paced tissue manufacturing environment. This position will assist machine operators, stack and clean up tissue, keep the production area clean, and perform other duties as needed to keep the production line running efficiently. Essential Duties Stack and move finished tissue products and assist with cleanup around the production line. Assist machine operators with daily production activities. Operate and monitor equipment including wrappers, diverters, case packers, robots, pallet stackers, case printers, case sealers, and cranes. Assist with the operation of the wrapper and log saw associated with the production line. Assist with equipment setup and development of centerlines for production equipment. Verify production requirements according to product change design forms and the Converting Plant's Quality Plan. Perform routine mechanical adjustments and daily maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Know the location of all emergency stop (E-Stop) stations and follow all safety procedures at all times. Follow instructions and complete duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. Perform other duties as needed based on production and business requirements. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and perform physical work for extended periods. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Mechanical and technical aptitude preferred. Must be dependable and willing to work a rotating day/night schedule, including weekends. Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions. Pay Details:
