Job Description
Company Overview Based in Youngsville, NC, Sirchie manufactures high-quality forensic science and crime scene investigation products, customized special purpose vehicles, and provides hands-on training for law enforcement, public safety, medical, and education communities around the globe. Job Overview We are seeking to hire dedicated Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. The Production Operator I will assemble products and parts by connecting raw materials and components into criminal investigation kits. Operators need to read work instructions/orders to understand how to build the products. They will rotate in different departments when needed. Duties Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications. Comply with all company safety rules and guidelines, and wear PPE if required. This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal or written instructions. Ability to read and comprehend various measurements on scales and read instructions written in English One (1) year experience working in a manufacturing environment. Must be dependable and work diligently. Good written and oral communication skills Frequently sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and squatting Ability to lift and/or move up to 10lbs., occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 40lbs. with assistance.
