Seeking a Water Transfer Operator to manage and operate water transfer systems and equipment in oil and gas field operations. This position involves operating pumps, monitoring water flow, and ensuring safe and efficient water transfer operations for production, disposal, or completion activities. The role requires hands-on operation of equipment in a field environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate water transfer pumps, valves, and associated equipment Monitor water flow rates, pressures, and volumes during transfer operations Set up and tear down water transfer equipment and piping systems Conduct pre-operational inspections of pumps, hoses, and transfer equipment Maintain accurate records of water volumes transferred and operational activities Perform routine maintenance on water transfer equipment Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and operational issues Ensure proper connections and secure all hoses, fittings, and equipment Monitor for leaks, spills, or equipment failures during operations Respond to operational issues and make adjustments as needed Communicate with field personnel, operators, and supervisors regarding transfer operations Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Maintain clean and organized work areas Perform minor repairs and equipment servicing Complete daily logs, reports, and documentation

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Previous experience operating pumps or water transfer equipment preferred Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret flow meters, gauges, and equipment controls Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and follow instructions Good communication skills Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, climb, and work in various weather conditions Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call as needed Basic math skills for calculating volumes and flow rates Attention to detail and safety-focused mindset Ability to operate in remote field locations
