Peoplelink Staffing has partnered with a PREMIER employer in Wahpeton, ND.. Our customer continually expands its solution capabilities by leveraging its automotive engineering expertise and experience in other key industries. The Wahpeton facility focuses on producing various types of hoses and belts, mainy for the agricultural industry. We are seeking dedicated Production Associate to join their fast-paced, quality-oriented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of industrial machinery and ensuring the production of high-quality products in the production areas of the plant.
Production Associate Job Summary:
Three shifts available 1st shift 7:00am-3:00pm 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm 3rd shift 11:00pm-7am Monday thru Friday with occassional Saturdays for overtime Pays $20.00 - $24.00 / hr
Production Associate Duties:
Operate industrial machinery in a computerized, quality-focused environment. Collaborate closely with other operators, spiral team lead, and spiral coordinator. Adhere to all safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment. Set up and operate equipment efficiently and safely, including installing and removing tooling. Complete all production and quality reports accurately (both paper and computer-based). Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the production process; contact Quality Assurance when needed. Perform basic operator maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and solve simple mechanical problems. Work effectively in a self-directed team environment, participating in team meetings, committee meetings, special projects, and task forces. Maintain routine housekeeping in the work area and throughout the plant.
Production Associate Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Read and interpret documents (safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals Accurate use of basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals) 0-2+ years of manufacturing experience Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted Must be able to stand for up to 12+ hours. Must be able to push, pull, reach, twist, turn, stoop, walk, stand for up to 12+ hours. Why Peoplelink?
