Job Title:
Shop Production Worker Position Summary The Shop Production Worker is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by sanding, assembling, finishing, and preparing wood products for shipment. This hands-on role requires the safe use of hand and power tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment. Key Responsibilities- Sand, assemble, and prepare wood product components according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with staining, finishing, packaging, and other production tasks as needed.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow company safety procedures and established production processes.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and goals.
- Move materials and products throughout the shop as required. Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, production, or shop environment preferred, but not required.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
