Job Title:
Shop Production Worker Position Summary The Shop Production Worker is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by sanding, assembling, finishing, and preparing wood products for shipment. This hands-on role requires the safe use of hand and power tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Sand, assemble, and prepare wood product components according to specifications.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assist with staining, finishing, packaging, and other production tasks as needed.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow company safety procedures and established production processes.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and goals.
  • Move materials and products throughout the shop as required. Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, production, or shop environment preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
