Primary Purpose:
Ensure the kitting line operates accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with the Packing Guide and quality standards.
Accountabilities:
Inspect line/supplies and assign team members to specific roles/tasks on the kitting line at the start of the shift and adjust assignments as needed. Follow the Packing Guide provided by the Account Manager for the current kitting project, ensuring all Kitting Line Team Members understand and follow it. Keep the kitting line productive and ensure team members remain actively engaged in assigned tasks. Assign or perform ongoing quality assurance (QA) checks on all kits to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the Packing Guide. Immediately stop production and correct issues if a quality or packing deviation is identified. Inform the Kitting Supervisor of the issue and actions taken. Clear Inventory Lane of product to be staged on the line and stage completed kits in the Inventory Lane. Communicate completed pallets to Inventory MAHA after the pallet is wrapped and the pallet label is applied. Communicate material shortages, quality concerns, staffing challenges, or process issues to the Kitting Supervisor promptly. Accurately complete and maintain the Daily Pallet Tracking Sheet for all pallets produced on the line. Place in the Line Tray designated for "Completed DPTS". Requirements & Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in assembly/kitting, fulfillment, warehouse, production, or a similar environment preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed Packing Guides, work instructions, and client specifications . Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify packing, quantity, labeling, or quality errors. Ability to lead and direct a small team, assign work, and adjust assignments based on production needs. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to give clear instructions and escalate concerns appropriately. Ability to perform and document accurate quality assurance (QA) checks . Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to keep the line productive and on schedule. Dependable attendance and ability to consistently report to work on time. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic math skills, including counting quantities and verifying completed kits and pallets. Ability to accurately complete production documentation, including the Daily Pallet Tracking Sheet . Comfortable communicating material shortages, staffing concerns, inventory issues, and quality concerns to the Kitting Supervisor. Ability to safely move, stage, and organize product and completed kits within the assigned work area. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift and lift required materials in accordance with company safety guidelines.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
