Lincoln, NE Job Summary:
Join a fast-paced production floor where we are looking for responsible, hardworking individuals to be part of our team. This position is in the Canopies Division of Mapes Industries. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to read a tape measure.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday:
7:00 AM
  • 4:30
PM Friday:
7:00 AM
  • 11:00
AM Starting Pay:
$18.00 per hour, plus an hourly bonus based on the previous month's efficiency and production.
Responsibilities:
Safety:
Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Productivity:
Meet production goals while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in daily tasks.
Quality of Work:
Ensure all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
Communication & Teamwork:
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth operations.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability:
Identify and address production issues with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Attendance & Punctuality:
Maintain a consistent work schedule with dependable attendance.
Professional Development:
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and improve performance.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret a tape measure accurately. Reliable transportation to and from work. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior experience in a production or manufacturing setting is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
