Job Description:
Production Operator Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining efficiency and continuing production of the manufacturing equipment and secondary operations.
Job Functions:
Visually inspect all products for conformance to quality standards when handling. Package product in within previously established methods. Familiarize themselves with the quality requirements of each job that they are assigned. Communicate with the Quality department to minimize any nonconforming product. Understand the basic workings and safety features of all equipment and machinery that they are using. Maintain cleanliness in their work area. Perform any housekeeping duties as assigned. Assist in the training of other personnel as needed. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English. Have basic computer skills. Have good manual dexterity. Have good eyesight (with corrective lenses is acceptable) Must be able to follow instructions, written and verbal. Have good supervisory skills. Possess basic knowledge of hand tools and their uses. Capable of maintaining company attendance requirements Possess a minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment. Capable of training others as needed. Must possess a strong commitment to the Company and to the production of quality product. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Physical demands of job include but are not limited to the following: Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 55lbs
