Production Team Lead responsible for production line support, employee training, safety and 5S compliance, quality control, takt-time performance, and first-level equipment troubleshooting. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED. Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office products. Ability to perform all assigned production line positions. Experience following standardized manufacturing processes and procedures. Ability to train employees on standard operating procedures. Ability to track hourly production rates and takt time against production schedules. Ability to perform first-level machine repairs and downtime investigations. Ability to distinguish colors and demonstrate depth perception required for production activities. Ability to work in environments involving noise, vibration, oils, petroleum products, solvents, and degreasers. Ability to sit, stand, walk, grip, type, bend, twist, reach, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive hand and arm motions as required. Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds from floor to waist and perform additional lifting activities as required. Ability to push or pull 25-50 pounds. Ability to work irregular or extended hours as required. Preferred Skills Previous manufacturing experience. Experience with 5S manufacturing practices. Job Responsibilities Perform production line positions as needed to support manufacturing operations. Train production employees on new and existing standard operating procedures. Verify workstations meet safety, quality, and 5S requirements. Conduct production and workstation audits. Lead rapid problem-solving activities within assigned production cells. Stop production and initiate escalation procedures when abnormalities are identified. Monitor compliance with production requirements, including training, 5S, and equipment functionality. Track hourly production output and takt time against production schedules. Escalate production delays or performance issues to supervision. Identify defective products and contain quality issues. Take corrective action to limit production loss and restore first-piece production standards. Investigate machine downtime and perform first-level equipment repairs.
