Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of MES solutions across our manufacturing operations. This role will serve as a key link between production, quality, engineering, and IT teams to ensure efficient execution of manufacturing processes, real-time production visibility, and compliance with operational standards.
Essential Functions:
Plan and support the build and modification of mechanical and electronics systems including procurement support, assembly method/work instruction generation, tooling design support, material/process development, facilities/equipment planning, implementation of design changes, and resolution of manufacturing, quality, and reliability issues Design, configure, implement, and support Manufacturing Execution System solutions for production environments Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements Translate production workflows into MES system functionality, including routing, work instructions, data collection, traceability, and reporting Support integration between MES, ERP, test software and other applications Troubleshoot and debug MES-related issues and provide timely resolution to minimize production downtime Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 4 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience Working experience with

Experience with electro-optical systems products Knowledge and experience in the following: ASP.NET Framework SQL C# JavaScript (jQuery)
