This position works directly in the production of SilverBitz and other precious metal products. Handling materials, operating production equipment, following established procedures, and maintaining high standards for safety, quality, security and accuracy. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, and able to perform physically active work throughout the shift. - Produce, process, and assist with the daily manufacturing of SilverBitz and other precious metal products according to company standards.
- Handle silver and related precious metal materials with care, accuracy, and accountability.
- Operate, monitor, and assist with setup of production tools, machinery, and equipment as directed.
- Inspect materials and finished products throughout the production process to ensure quality, consistency, and proper finish.
- Measure, weigh, sort, package, label, and move materials or finished products as needed.
- Follow written procedures, verbal instructions, production schedules, and supervisor direction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Identify and report equipment issues, material concerns, quality defects, or safety hazards promptly.
- Use required personal protective equipment and follow all shop safety procedures.
- Work cooperatively with team members to meet production goals while maintaining craftsmanship and quality. Required Qualifications
- Hands-on ability and willingness to work in a production, shop, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Ability to safely work around equipment, tools, and metal materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn production processes, and complete repetitive tasks consistently.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Basic math, measuring, counting, and recordkeeping skills preferred.
- Experience with machinery, tools, precious metals, metalworking, assembly, finishing, packaging, or similar work is helpful but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Demands
- Must be able to consistently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and remain on feet for long periods during the workday.
- Must be comfortable working near open flames and high temperatures.
- Must be able to bend, reach, twist, walk, grip, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Must be able to work safely around moving equipment, tools, metal materials, and production noise.
- Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment.
