We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Biotechnologist 1 to join a fast-paced production team in Portsmouth, NH. This on-site role is ideal for entry-level professionals eager to gain hands-on cGMP experience in therapeutic protein manufacturing while working a rotating night shift schedule.

Portsmouth, New Hampshire job type: Contract salary: $26.00 - 28.95 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Associate responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) operations. Execute process recipes primarily in the Buffer Prep area, working with Concentrates and P11 handling. Perform basic analytical laboratory tasks, including pH testing, conductivity monitoring, and product sampling. Complete written and electronic documentation adhering to strict cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Execute routine facility sanitization, cleaning tasks, and raw material transfers across production areas. Participate in daily shift exchanges, team meetings, and continuous improvement projects.
qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or biotech production environments. Strict adherence to cGMP regulations and safety standards. Ability to work a rotating 12-hour night shift (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM; alternating weeks: Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat/Sun and Wed/Thu).
Preferred:
Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field. Prior experience with aseptic technique and buffer preparation.
