Production Specialist

Salary:

This is a true "hands-on" role where you'll own the full production cycle—from mixing and batching to equipment maintenance and facility upkeep. If you have experience in manufacturing or chemical blending and enjoy working in a structured, safety-driven environment where details matter, this could be a strong fit! This position is located at our client's facility in Carlstadt, N.J. What your future day will look like: Execute batch production processes following formulas, SOPs, and quality standards with strict accuracy Weigh, measure, and blend raw materials while ensuring proper sequencing and consistency Verify raw materials and report any discrepancies before production begins Operate mixers, blending systems, packaging equipment, and forklifts safely Perform routine equipment maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, inspections, calibration checks) Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues; escalate more complex problems when needed Maintain production and maintenance logs, tracking batches, equipment performance, and material usage Support labeling, packaging, and repackaging activities according to internal and regulatory standards Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready production and warehouse environment (5S principles) Assist with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory movement Participate in safety programs, conduct pre-shift checks, and follow all PPE and chemical handling requirements Support general facility upkeep, including minor repairs and coordination with vendors

Direct Hire To be a champion in this role, you will need: High school diploma or GED 2+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or chemical mixing environments Experience with batch processing, blending, or formulation work Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely Mechanical aptitude with the ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment Basic electrical knowledge (motors, panels, controls) Commitment to safety and familiarity with PPE, SDS, and safe material handling practices Strong organizational skills and ability to keep accurate records and documentation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification We know you are more than a resume and understand your next career move needs to be the right fit!
