Position Summary This is a hands-on manufacturing position with opportunities to learn and assist in machining, equipment maintenance, custom machinery projects, and process improvement activities. The successful candidate will primarily support manufacturing operations while assisting with mechanical, fabrication, and machining-related tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with measurements, weights, production records, and detailed procedures. Responsibilities Prepare, assemble, clean, and handle manufacturing molds and tooling Measure, weigh, mix, and document production materials accurately Follow established manufacturing processes and quality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist with machine setup, operation, and maintenance activities Operate basic shop equipment and power tools Support fabrication, assembly, and custom equipment projects Assist with machining operations on manual and CNC equipment as skills develop Perform inspections and accurately record measurements and production data Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency Assist with material handling and inventory organization Desired Qualifications Manufacturing, mechanical, fabrication, maintenance, machining, or technical experience preferred Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and other measuring instruments Comfortable working with numbers, weights, dimensions, and production calculations Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills Experience with machine tools, welding, fabrication, maintenance, or industrial equipment is a plus Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable attendance and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Value We value individuals who: Take pride in doing things correctly Notice details that others miss Keep their work organized and accurate Are curious about how machines and processes work Think through problems before acting Take ownership of their work Want to build a long-term career rather than simply hold a job Experience is important, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are equally important.
