Job Description

Now, as we continue to grow, we're looking for a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Assembler to join our family. At MPE your expertise won't just sit on a shelf; it will power the future. You'll be diving into exciting, globally impactful projects, shaping everything from electric vehicle powertrains and next-generation semiconductor fabrication to particle accelerators, cutting-edge energy research, and national defense. The PCB Assembler will assemble electronic components onto printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) according to company specifications. The assembler will use various hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, hand solder, and follow sample boards to determine assembly duties. Given the complex nature of the products, there will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams. The PCB Assembler is responsible for: Preparing set-up, forming, and staging of various components for PCB assembly Soldering through hole components and wiring assemblies Operating automation machinery (wire fabrication, SMT pick & place, 3D-AOI) Performing visual inspection of assemblies to IPC-standards Assembling PCBs by following BOMs, schematics, and diagrams Working in a push line assembly process to combine tasks and effectively maximize labor efforts The education and experience for this position includes: High school diploma or GED Minimum 1-2 years related experience and/or training Good mechanical aptitude and accurate use of various hand and power tools Capable of using different hand and tabletop tools related to manufacturing of PCBA's Execution of GDP in a manufacturing environment.
