Role:
The Operator Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring that machinery and production lines function efficiently and safely. This position involves assisting machine operators with setup, monitoring, and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maintain product quality. The Operator Assistant contributes to a smooth workflow by preparing materials, conducting routine inspections, and promptly addressing any operational issues. Collaboration with team members and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain a productive and hazard-free work environment. Ultimately, this role supports the manufacturing process to meet production targets and uphold company standards.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery operation. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks. Strong attention to detail and reliability.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Familiarity with standard manufacturing safety practices and equipment. Basic mechanical aptitude or technical training related to machinery. Ability to use hand tools and perform minor equipment adjustments. Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.Responsibilities:
Assist machine operators in setting up and calibrating equipment for production runs. Monitor machinery during operation to detect and report any malfunctions or irregularities. Prepare and supply raw materials or components to the production line as needed. Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently. Follow all safety guidelines and participate in safety training sessions to maintain a safe workplace. Document production activities and report any issues or deviations to supervisors promptly. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and support continuous improvement initiatives.Physical Requirements:
