Summary:

Seeking an Entry Level Chemist to support laboratory and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will perform routine laboratory and production activities, operate laboratory equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure products are manufactured safely and according to quality standards.

Must Have Skills:

Bachelor's Degree preferred (or High School Diploma w/relevant experience)Strong mathematical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAbility to maneuver 50+ gallon drumsPrevious laboratory experience preferred

Duties:

Record room and equipment temperatures and complete required manufacturing documentation.

Clean and disinfect benchtops, hoods, equipment, and other laboratory surfaces.

Properly dispose of biohazardous waste.

Monitor and maintain laboratory consumable inventory.

Print labels for vials, boxes, and other products.

Dispense and cap product.

Operate laboratory equipment including pipettes, balances, pH meters, centrifuges, and related equipment.

Maintain computer databases, including inventory and production schedules.

Support automated production and packaging equipment used for sorting, washing, cutting, taping, labeling, counting, and assembly.

Meet production metrics while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and equipment.

Perform calibration, minor maintenance, and related equipment duties as required.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Use critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to address production and equipment issues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous laboratory experience preferred.

Intermediate mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Self-directed, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
