Job Description
ADM has been in business since 1983, and we're looking to add a Grinder / Finisher to our team. This is a hands-on production role focused on grinding and finishing welded sheet metal parts — but ADM isn't a typical shop. When grinding work is light, you won't be sent home or stuck waiting. You'll step in to help our shipping team get orders out the door, and cross-train into other parts of the shop like PEM insertion, tapping, and light assembly. The right person uses this role as a doorway into the rest of the trade — and there's a real path forward from here if you want it. WHY ADM Over 40 years in business — stable, established, and still growing A real entry point into sheet metal fabrication — we'll train you from day one Exposure to multiple shop processes so you build a broader skill set, not just one Path to grow into welding, machine operation, or other skilled roles as you prove yourself Employer covers 75% of healthcare premium for employee (after 90 days) Simple IRA retirement plan (after 6 months) Paid time off per NJ law and paid company holidays Steady day shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday Small-shop culture focused on quality workmanship — most of our team has been here for years
