About ATL Aero Tec Laboratories was founded in 1970 as a design and testing facility for "flexible composite" materials. Shortly thereafter, the firm broadened its scope to include the actual fabrication of end products from its own outstanding fiber/elastomer composites. These end products are used in many industries, including motorsport, automotive, marine, defense, aviation, and aerospace! Over its generation of growth, ATL USA has assembled an enviable legion of agents and distributors, plus a sister company in England, ATL UK. Job Role To gain knowledge of all aspects of business, learning relevant processes by supporting the Production Departments where required. To assist teams with ad hoc tasks around the business.
Main Duties:
Processing parts within relevant department using written instructions and engineering drawings, maintaining part traceability at all times. Inserting manufactured hardware with Rivetnuts, Helicoils and Keenserts. Conduct the preparation of parts for adhesive bonding. Assist with the material moulding of fuel bladders and preparation of raw materials. Conduct preventative maintenance throughout relevant department. Assist with general maintenance around the site as required. Support of the manufacture, stock control and verification of cell bond. Conduct some mechanical assembly work within the Final Assembly department and Production Line. Support Quality functions within business, including testing and certifications of products. Escalate any Quality concerns or risks. Support R&D team with research and relevant testing of new methods and products. Use environmentally sustainable practices in accordance with our environmental policy. Seek ways to reduce waste and energy usage in accordance with our environmental objectives. You may be required to complete other tasks, as required by the business.
