About the Role We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Ingredient to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 1, Bakery-Ingredient, you will be accountable for accurately preparing, scaling, and documenting ingredients according to production recipes while maintaining inventory accuracy, traceability, food safety, and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting efficient mixing operations and ensuring consistent product quality throughout the production process. Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Prepare and scale ingredients accurately according to production recipes and quality standards. Maintain ingredient traceability, inventory accuracy, and production documentation. Support efficient production flow by supplying ingredients to mixing operations on schedule. Operate weighing, scanning, and data-entry systems to ensure compliance and accuracy. Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe ingredient preparation and storage areas. Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Adhere to GMP, food safety, health, safety, and security requirements while promoting a safe work environment. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High School Diploma or GED. Minimum six (6) months of manufacturing, production, or general labor experience. Ability to understand and follow recipes, production instructions, and standard operating procedures. Basic math proficiency including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to accurately document production, ingredient, and traceability information using computer systems. Ability to understand scale readings, temperature readings, and basic production controls. Ability to lift, carry, and dump materials weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Previous food manufacturing or commercial bakery experience. Experience with ingredient scaling, weighing, or recipe-based production processes. Familiarity with SAP, MOVEX, or similar manufacturing systems. Knowledge of GMP, food safety, sanitation, and traceability requirements. Experience participating in Lean, TPM, AOE, Centerline, CIL, or other continuous improvement initiatives. Compensation
