Dry Cleaning Production Associate Sunny Brite Cleaners Trenton, NJ Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) On-the-job training 401(k) matching Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Packing Manufacturing Dry cleaning Picking & packing Full Job Description About us: Sunny Brite Cleaners is a family-operated dry cleaner looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our team. This position will initially focus on back-of-house dry-cleaning production , including pressing, packing, organizing orders, and inspecting finished garments. No dry-cleaning experience is required. We are willing to train someone who is reliable, careful, and interested in learning. The position has the opportunity to grow over time. As you become comfortable with production, we can train you in other areas of the business, including customer service, garment intake and inspection, stain removal, alteration intake, and general shop operations. Initial Responsibilities Learn to press and finish garments Pack and organize completed customer orders Inspect finished garments for quality Sort and handle customer clothing carefully Identify garments that require additional attention Maintain an organized and clean production area Learn proper handling techniques for different garments and fabrics Opportunities to Learn As you gain experience, you may also be trained in: Customer pickup and drop-off Point-of-sale/cashier operation Inspecting incoming garments for stains, damage, and special-care requirements Basic stain removal and spotting Taking measurements and accepting garments for alterations Customer service and resolving routine customer questions Opening, closing, and other shop operations Schedule This position will initially be scheduled primarily during our production hours, approximately: 3 days per week, around 9:00 AM-1:00 PM Approximately 10-12 hours per week to start . Additional hours may become available as you learn other parts of the business. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is dependable and arrives on time Pays close attention to detail Is careful when handling customers' clothing Is comfortable working on their feet Can perform repetitive hands-on work Takes pride in producing quality work Is willing to learn and accepts feedback well Can eventually work independently Is interested in learning multiple parts of a small business Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry, pressing, tailoring, alterations, retail, restaurants, manufacturing, or other hands-on work is helpful but not required . Compensation Starting at $18-$20 per hour depending on experience. There is potential for additional hours, increased responsibility, and higher pay as you become trained in additional areas of the business. We are looking for someone interested in a stable, long-term part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a larger role.
