Job Summary Lyssy & Eckel is looking for dependable, safety-minded Production Operators to join our Roswell feed mill team. Production Operators help keep the mill running safely and efficiently by operating and monitoring production equipment, handling ingredients and finished feed products, performing quality checks, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting with other production needs throughout the facility. Employees may work in different areas of the mill depending on experience, training, and production needs. We are willing to train the right candidates, and opportunities may be available to learn multiple areas of feed manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Safely operate, monitor, and assist with production and material-handling equipment. Help manufacture, process, package, and prepare feed products for customers. Monitor equipment and production processes to make sure operations are running properly. Perform routine quality checks and follow established production procedures. Identify and report equipment problems, jams, unusual noises, or other operating issues. Assist with receiving, moving, or handling ingredients and finished products as needed. Follow production instructions and help ensure the correct product is produced and handled properly. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the mill. Sweep, clean, and remove spilled feed, ingredients, dust, and other materials as needed. Follow company safety procedures, equipment operating instructions, and feed-safety requirements. Assist coworkers and other production areas when needed to keep operations moving. Learn additional equipment and production responsibilities through training and cross-training. Perform other duties as assigned based on daily production needs. Qualifications Previous feed mill or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required . We are willing to train dependable candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Manufacturing or production Feed mills or grain handling Packaging or bagging operations Warehousing Forklift or material-handling equipment Machine or industrial equipment operation Agriculture or other hands-on mechanical work Candidates should also have: Reliable attendance and punctuality. Strong attention to safety and quality. Willingness to learn different production jobs and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and established procedures. Ability to recognize and communicate when equipment or production does not appear to be operating properly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Basic computer skills are helpful for positions involving automated production equipment. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Repeatedly lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, reach, stoop, and perform physical work throughout the day. Climb stairs and ladders as required. Work safely around industrial machinery and mobile equipment. Work in a manufacturing environment that may be dusty, noisy, and affected by outside temperatures. Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all company safety procedures. Shift & Hours This is a full-time production position. Work schedules may vary depending on production demand.
Employees should be prepared for:
Day-shift work 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 12:00PM on Saturday Extended shifts that may range from approximately 10 to 12 hours. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 58.0 - 65.0 per week
