•2:30 PM Position Summary The Clothes Hanger is a critical link in the dry cleaning production process. This role is responsible for removing clean garments from dry cleaning machines, hanging them properly, and transporting them to pressing stations in a timely manner. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position — the pressing team depends on a steady, uninterrupted flow of garments to keep production moving. A delay or absence in this role directly shuts down the pressing line and disrupts the entire production schedule. We need someone dependable who shows up on time, every day, and is looking for long-term, stable work. Key Responsibilities Remove clean, finished garments from dry cleaning machines promptly as cycles complete Hang garments correctly and efficiently on hangers Transport hung garments quickly to pressing stations to maintain continuous workflow Keep pace with machine cycles and pressing station demand throughout the shift Handle garments carefully to avoid damage, wrinkling, or dropping Communicate with pressing staff and supervisors to manage flow and avoid bottlenecks Maintain a clean, organized work area around machines and transport paths Move quickly and safely between machines and pressing stations for the full shift Qualifications Must be able to walk/move at a fast pace for extended periods Ability to carry 10-15 lbs of garments on hangers repeatedly throughout the shift Good hand-eye coordination Physically able to handle a fast-paced, high-volume, repetitive-motion environment 100% reliable attendance is required — this role directly controls production flow, so consistent, on-time attendance without call-outs is essential Ability to work well under pressure and keep up with a continuous workflow Team-oriented with clear communication skills Preferred Skills Prior experience in dry cleaning, garment processing, or similar production environments Experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse setting Work Environment Dry cleaning production floor Constant standing, walking, and physical movement Fast-paced, high-volume environment with time-sensitive workflow Direct impact on production output — this is a key role in the plant, not an entry-level "extra" position What We're Looking For We're not just filling a shift — we're looking for someone seeking long-term, stable employment who takes attendance and punctuality seriously.
