$28.16/hour Position Overview We are seeking motivated and reliable Production Operators to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, supporting continuous process improvements, and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates with manufacturing, production, forklift, or heavy industrial experience are encouraged to apply. Essential Responsibilities Perform production line setup and startup activities Operate extrusion equipment and production machinery Package and band finished products Operate forklifts safely and efficiently Measure and verify product dimensions, including wall thickness, diameter, and ovality Complete quality inspections and ensure products meet specifications Operate overhead cranes and hoists Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Follow all safety policies, procedures, and programs Additional Lead/Supervisor Responsibilities (As Assigned) Assist with supervision of production operators Coordinate production schedules and workflow Lead team meetings and safety tailgates Attend operational meetings Assist with employee evaluations and performance reviews Serve as backup support for production leadership when needed Qualifications Manufacturing or production experience preferred Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to learn production processes and equipment operation Excellent communication and teamwork skills Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus Commitment to workplace safety and PPE requirements Physical Requirements Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Comfortable working around production machinery and equipment Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
