Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Condition material surfaces by abrasive blasting, grinding, sanding, polishing and cleaning operations.
• Apply/remove protective coverings and masking from stainless steel sheet, threads and other features used to mitigate damage during process operations or used for preservation of surface conditions.
• Assist with loading and removal of materials and subassemblies from process operation staging areas.
• Package materials, subassemblies and assemblies for local and/or long-distance shipment by palletization, banding, wrapping or other methods.
• Load and unload local and long-distance carriers.
• Clean, organize and maintain shop and office spaces.
• Assist with facility maintenance and janitorial activities.
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS 0-2

years' experience in fabrication shop environment Ability to operate power tools in a safe manner Ability to operate material handling equipment Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment

Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.
