Job Description

Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the Production Planning team by creating and maintain production schedules, managing inventory levels, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products, and performing data analysis to identify potential issues and optimize production processes, all under the guidance of the Materials Production Planning Manager.
Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and updating detailed production schedules based on sales, forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity. Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Responsible for running the daily, weekly, and monthly reports associated with planning and purchasing Communicates with vendors and suppliers and follows up with actions related to open orders and open order reports Plans and prints the daily manufacturing workflow reports Involved with product/dispatch item check and chase process Collaborate with other departments to ensure production aligns with business needs. Maintain production planning records and documentation. Assist with production planning meetings and provide administrative support. General filing duties Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred Demonstrated time management, organization, and planning skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong computer skills and literacy with MS Office Suite. Capable of assuming responsibility.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position will work in an office environment within a manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery and related noise levels. Position will be primarily working in a sitting position for up to six (6) plus hours typing and analyzing data. Periodic walking around the facility will be required.
