Production Associate Job Description As a Production Associate specializing in print and auto inspection on the 3rd shift, you will play a crucial role in the label manufacturing process. Your expertise will ensure the accurate production of labels using both automated and non-automated equipment. You will be responsible for assisting in pre and post printing processes, adhering to established specifications, and maintaining production goals. Responsibilities Demonstrate a solid understanding of label manufacturing processes utilizing both automated and non-automated equipment. Assist in all pre and post printing processes associated with production jobs as directed. Understand client-approved proofs and associated documents to manufacture labels per established specifications. Set up computerized production runs and Bulk Transfer Labels using the proprietary software application CLPS, according to SOPs and WIs. Monitor label production processing for accuracy and completeness in accordance with SOPs/WIs while completing all daily production goals. Maintain daily and monthly production goals and schedules, proactively relay any obstacles encountered to management to ensure smooth operations. Demonstrate solid understanding and ability to troubleshoot and identify solutions to problems. Inspect label material during production and perform manual adjustments to avoid and/or correct printing and reorienting inconsistencies and imperfections. Operate equipment in a controlled manner to limit waste and defects. Offer process improvements to identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and environment. Work in an organized manner, paying close attention to detail, while maintaining a clean professional work environment. Ability to multi-task to optimize production while maintaining the highest quality standards. Essential Skills Experience in production and general labor. Proficiency in machine operating and general production. 1 plus years in a manufacturing setting operating machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with overnight shifts from 11pm to 7:30am, Monday to Friday. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bohemia, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.90 - $29.90/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
