This position will work alongside our extraction staff and assist with day-to-day cannabis extraction and processing operations. This is a hands-on position that includes consistent work in a freezer/cold environment , material preparation, weighing and handling finished goods, cleaning equipment, and supporting extraction production. Previous extraction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who is dependable, comfortable working in a production environment, and able to follow detailed procedures. Responsibilities Assist extraction staff with daily production and processing Prepare cannabis material for extraction Work regularly inside a freezer/cold environment to prepare, organize, retrieve, and handle materials Weigh and prepare starting material for production Weigh, document, and organize finished goods Assist with loading and unloading extraction equipment Track starting material, finished material, and production yields Help with collection, transfer, and handling of extracted material Label and organize materials and finished goods accurately Clean extraction equipment, tools, vessels, and work areas between runs Assist with equipment setup and breakdown Follow established SOPs and instructions from extraction staff Complete required production and batch documentation accurately Maintain a clean and organized extraction and freezer area Follow all safety and cannabis compliance requirements Assist with other production tasks as needed What We're Looking For Must be 21 years of age or older Reliable and able to consistently arrive on time Must be comfortable working regularly in a freezer/cold environment Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing setting Strong attention to detail Able to accurately weigh and record materials Able to follow written procedures and instructions Comfortable working around manufacturing and extraction equipment Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks Able to lift up to 50 lbs Basic math and measurement skills Able to work well with others and communicate clearly Cannabis extraction, laboratory, manufacturing, mechanical, or production experience is a plus but not required Schedule This is a full-time, on-site position at our facility in Canastota, NY . Compensation Pay is based on experience. Mount Olympus Manufacturing is looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable with the physical and hands-on nature of extraction support. Regular freezer work is an expected part of this position , along with material preparation, weighing finished goods, cleaning, organization, and general extraction support.
